Our Representatives

Jimmy Jarvis

Senior Policy, Research and Engagement Manager

Jimmy is Senior Research, Policy and Engagement Manager at Digital Catapult. He supports the development of innovation programmes that enable the UK economy to adopt AI responsibly, aligning with the Government’s AI Strategy. On BridgeAI he leads strategic stakeholder engagement for the programme.

Ahmed Kotb

Policy Delivery Lead

Ahmed Kotb joined the Digital Catapult in January 2023 as Policy Delivery Lead, supporting the Strategy and External Affairs function within the company. His focus is primarily to build on recommendations and outputs from the work of key programmes such as Bridge AI, UK Telecoms Innovation Network (UKTIN) and the National Cyber Physical Infrastructure (NCPI, which the Catapult lead, to show the wider impact across Government departments. This means engaging with policy makers across Whitehall and engaging Ministers where appropriate. Prior to this, he spent 10 years within the tech sector working at the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and 10 years within the Education sector, promoting, delivering and being an evangelist for STEM, primarily promoting engineering to young people from primary and secondary school students.

Phillipa Spencer

Senior Innovation Partner

AI project lead at Digital Catapult supporting the translation of emerging digital technology from research into business applications. Pippa is leading Digital Catapult’s AI Innovation portfolio; including Digital Catapult’s role within IUKs BridgeAI programme; working with the ecosystem to support AI development and adoption in a responsible & ethical way. Her background in Physics and Aerospace Engineering coupled with over 7 years experience in the aerospace sector enables a strong understanding of business challenges and how emerging digital technology can help.
