Advanced Media Production: Foresighting skills for the future report

The Advanced Media Production: foresighting skills for the future report has been developed by Digital Catapult and Innovate UK’s Workforce Foresighting Hub to establish what future capabilities would be needed in light of the increasing use of real-time rendering engine technology.

In 2023, Digital Catapult and Target3D opened the Advanced Media Production Studios, a first in Europe. The two facilities, in London and Tees Valley, enable real time production, extending existing creative and technical capabilities at the intersection of game-engine technologies and the screen industries, developing unique R&D and commercial opportunities for the future.
