Accelerating Modelling & Simulation in partnership with CFMS

Date: 21 April 2026 09:30 - 16:30

About

Join us for a full day workshop exploring the power of MOOSE, a leading open source multi-physics simulation framework, and how it can drive industrial modelling and simulation adoption across Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Hosted by the UK Digital Twin Centre in partnership with CFMS, this event brings together industry, academia and research organisations keen to unlock next generation digital engineering capability.

Whether you are solving complex system challenges, building high fidelity digital twins, or scaling simulation capability, this workshop will equip you with insights, practical benchmarks and real-world use cases to accelerate value in your organisation

Why attend?

  • Understand the art of the possible with MOOSE and see where advanced multi-physics simulation can add value
  • Benchmark MOOSE against other tools and gain objective insight into strengths, limitations and suitability
  • Explore industrial applications where MOOSE has solved complex engineering challenges
  • Connect with peers across aerospace, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, defence and beyond
  • Contribute to strengthening digital twin capability across universities, research centres and industry

Who should attend?

This workshop is ideal for:

  • Industry leaders and technical specialists working in modelling and simulation and digital engineering.
  • Research and development teams in aerospace, defence, mobility, energy and advanced manufacturing.
  • University researchers and research technologists interested in digital twin integration and multi-physics simulation.
