Register your interest to join Digital Catapult on Thursday 12 March at National Composites Centre (NCC) in Bristol to discover the latest in supply chain innovation as the art of the possible is demonstrated through the initiatives of the Defence Testbed Accelerator, part of Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Supply Chain Hub.
Overview
About
Through the Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Supply Chain Hub programme, Digital Catapult, supported by the National Composites Centre (NCC) and the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), carrying out the project on behalf of High Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVMC), have been working alongside the Ministry of Defence to develop a testbed to validate solutions built to take the MOD’s supply chain agility to the next level.
Throughout this showcase event, attendees will explore how deep tech can enable the Ministry of Defence and its supply chain of manufacturers to securely manage and share manufacturing design data to support and increase agility in distributed additive manufacture (3D printing) of parts. Hear from the five pioneering companies, developing secure solutions that can equip the UK’s defence supply chain to be future-ready.
Why attend?
By attending, guests will:
- Learn how deep tech innovation can equip the UK’s defence supply chain to be future-ready and resilient through secure data sharing and agile, distributed additive manufacturing
- Hear from the innovators and defence sector figures at the heart of the solutions developed as part of the testbed
- Discover how virtual testbed environments can be a key advantage in the UK’s defence and hear more about Digital Catapult’s work in supporting the UK’s defence sector through the practical application of deep tech
