Digital Catapult will take part in 5G Techritory, the Europe’s leading 5G ecosystem forum, taking place in Riga – Latvia, on 18 and 19 October 2023.

The 5G Techritory platform is an initiative to bring together the key players in 5G development with the goal of developing a robust and aligned 5G Ecosystem in Europe and beyond. The event will take place in phygital (combined physical and digital) form – with speakers and VIP guests in attendance in Riga, Latvia, and streamed online to thousands of viewers worldwide.

Over the course of this 2 days hybrid event, 5G’s leading minds will congregate to put together some of the world’s most comprehensive content regarding this year’s main theme – 5G IN ACTION, covering topics such as:

Digital Catapult’s Director of Technology Strategy, Paul Ceely, will take part in a panel discussion on Day 1, Wednesday 18 October, at 2 pm on the XG Stage.

This session, titled “ECONOMY AROUND THE METAVERSE: UNLOCKING VALUE AND INNOVATION IN MIXED REALITY WORLDS“, will discuss the transformative impact of metaverse infrastructure on industries, economies, and user experiences.

The panel of experts will explore the essential components that drive the metaverse’s growth and sustainability, including the development of robust network architectures, cutting-edge hardware technologies, scalable infrastructure solutions, as well as business models that underpin the metaverse’s expansion and the strategic partnerships that drive innovation in this space.
