About This Event

Is your business seeking to improve operational efficiency, increase productivity, or enable new processes and services through advanced digital technologies? Could 5G help you to achieve this?

Digital Catapult is hosting a free workshop, on behalf of the Belfast 5G Innovation Region, to help organisations identify, understand, and articulate their key business challenges that could be solved by 5G-powered digital technologies.

5G connectivity is underpinning innovation across many industry sectors by supporting a range of digital technologies including automation, IoT, AI, robotics, and immersive applications.

This workshop gives you an opportunity to work with expert technologists and innovators from Digital Catapult and peers in your industry sector to explore 5G use cases and project ideas that could benefit your business.

It’s open to businesses and organisations that are located in the Belfast Region* and work in the advanced manufacturing, engineering and construction; transport and logistics; and creative industries sectors.

During the workshop you will:

  • Better understand how 5G and digital technologies can benefit your business and industry sector.
  • Hear from local organisations that have deployed private 5G networks and harnessed public 5G to benefit their business.
  • Identify and define your business challenges and explore how 5G can provide solutions.
  • Gain knowledge to help build a business case for investment in 5G and digital technologies.
  • Learn about 5G resources and opportunities as part of the Belfast 5G Innovation Region programme.
