Overview

As  the race towards Net Zero intensifies, manufacturers face the challenge of reducing emissions while maintaining productivity. With 47% of UK manufacturers recognising energy efficiency as a key strategy for emissions reduction, this webinar will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can optimise processes, reduce energy consumption, and accelerate the path to sustainable manufacturing.

This webinar will cover the practical application of AI to improve manufacturing efficiency focusing on optimising energy use and reducing emissions.

About This Event

Organised by the Artificial Intelligence for Decarbonisation’s Virtual Centre of Excellence (ADViCE), this event aims to accelerate the development of innovative artificial intelligence technologies that support the transition to Net Zero.

ADViCE is a collaboration between Digital Catapult, Energy Systems Catapult, and The Alan Turing Institute. It is part of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero’s Net Zero Innovation Portfolio. The event is part of  a series of webinars addressing key challenges outlined in the ADViCE: AI for Decarbonisation Challenges report, that highlights key areas where AI can drive  decarbonisation efforts.

Who Should Attend?

This webinar is ideal for manufacturing companies interested in adopting AI or collaborating with start-ups to explore efficiency solutions as part of the manufacturing process, especially with regards to processes that can be optimised for energy usage and emissions. The webinar will likely also be of interest to many in the AI and net zero innovation ecosystem who want to learn more about how the manufacturing sector is deploying AI for decarbonisation applications.

  • AI developers and innovators
  • Investment community
  • Local government authorities
  • Regulatory authorities
  • Academia and research centres

Why Attend?

Join us to hear from companies and innovators that are deploying cutting-edge AI solutions making significant contributions to optimising resources and energy efficiency in the manufacturing sector.

During a panel discussion, AI developers and adopters will discuss the challenges in deploying these cutting edge AI solutions, and how these barriers can be overcome in the manufacturing sector.
