David Bletso

David is the Interim CEO of Digital Catapult. He serves as an Executive Director on the Digital Catapult Board and is the executive lead for the company’s Audit & Risk Committee and Investment Governance Committee.

David brings extensive financial, strategic and operational leadership experience, having held board positions across the marketing and communications, retail and leisure, and charity sectors. Throughout his career, he has led complex organisational transformation programmes, harnessing digital technologies, data-driven decision-making and process innovation to drive growth, improve efficiency and enable long-term organisational change.

With a strong focus on delivering impactful digital transformation, David combines innovation with operational excellence, ensuring organisations build the foundations needed to scale effectively while maintaining a relentless focus on the “brilliant basics” that underpin sustainable success.

David is also Chair of the Finance Committee at Global’s charity, Make Some Noise, where he has served as a trustee for the past two years.
