Things Connected for local authorities customer showcase

Join us on Monday 16 July 2018 for a morning showcase event featuring cutting-edge UK businesses who are developing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for Local Authority business challenges.

At the event, the companies will showcase their innovative IoT offerings, with a focus on solutions they have designed to:

  • Cost-effectively and flexibly measure footfall data for Suffolk County Council
  • Monitor and analyse air pollution data for Croydon Council
  • Improve use of household waste and recycling centres for Thurrock Council
  • Support vulnerable groups travel independently for Sutton Council

Attendees will get to meet the businesses, hear from the Local Authorities trialling these technologies, and learn more about how the “Internet of Things” could help improve the quality and efficiency of local authority service delivery.

Things Connected is Digital Catapult’s programme designed to support UK businesses working with LPWAN technologies such as LoRaWAN and Sigfox.
