Smart Nano NI: Accelerating Industry Through Advanced Connectivity Technologies

Date: 10 March 2026 10:00 - 15:00

About

Register today to join Digital Catapult on Tuesday 10 March at North West Regional College’s Springtown Campus for an exclusive event, delivered by Smart Nano NI, showcasing future network innovations across the region.

Advanced connectivity technologies are transforming how industry designs, tests, manufactures and scales. This event will explore how next-generation networks are enabling smarter systems, greater flexibility, and improved performance across Northern Ireland’s advanced manufacturing sector.

At the heart of this capability is the Smart Nano NI 5G testbed, a real-world environment where businesses can safely test, validate and optimise connected products, services and industrial use cases. Whether assessing feasibility, benchmarking performance, comparing connectivity architectures or preparing for deployment, the testbed supports innovation at every stage of development.

This event will bring together leaders from industry, academia and government to explore practical applications of advanced connectivity in action. Through live demonstrations, industry case studies and expert insights, attendees will discover how future network technologies are accelerating industrial transformation.

We are delighted to feature contributions from global technology leaders including Nokia and CGI, who will share perspectives on industrial connectivity, private networks, digital transformation and the role of advanced communications infrastructure in driving productivity and resilience.
