Date: 3 July 2019 00:00 - 5 September 2019 23:59
Digital Catapult has partnered with the UK Government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) to support the design and development of a new Industrial 5G competition focused on the manufacturing and logistics sectors, as part of the 5G Testbeds & Trials Programme.
As announced by Jeremy Wright, Secretary of State for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport last week, this new 5G Sector Testbeds & Trials competition will have £40m available for match-funded projects over the next 2.5 years, representing a great new opportunity for innovation across the manufacturing industries and its UK supply chain. You can read the DCMS press release here.
Digital Catapult has partnered with a number of UK industry bodies to host a series of half-day events which will provide briefings for interested bidders from the public and private sectors to learn more of the available funding and discuss potential projects with representatives from Digital Catapult and other interested parties. The funding competition is due to launch towards the end of July.
