PwC Scale | Health, is a scale-up programme that provides the missing link between the decision makers in both public and private sector health and the small business ecosystem.

As passionate supporters of startup and scale-up businesses, PwC are excited to work alongside fast growth companies and support them as they implement their transformative solutions. PwC’s mission in running these series of Scale programmes is to break down the barriers that can prevent collaboration even getting off the ground, whether that’s the inexperience of startups or the complexity of big organisations.

At Digital Catapult, we focus on the sectors with the most untapped potential to deliver future economic growth and technological advancement – where digital innovation has the greatest potential impact to increase productivity, efficiency and scale globally. Partnering with PwC on a programme focused on enabling commercialisation is a natural association for Digital Catapult. With the launch of this Scale | Health programme, the organisation is increasing its focus on digital health.

PwC and Digital Catapult will combine their deep sector knowledge – in both the application of emerging digital technologies and health – to drive maximum impact for those scale-ups selected to participate in the Scale Programme. Through this association, PwC and Digital Catapult are looking to redefine the health sector to create mutual business opportunities and accelerate commercial growth.

PwC and Digital Catapult will also be working in collaboration with DigitalHealth.London to deliver this initiative, who in turn are working to to speed up the development adoption and scaling of digital innovations within the NHS.

DigitalHealth.London is a collaborative programme delivered by MedCity, and London’s three Academic Health Science Networks – UCLPartners, Imperial College Health Partners, and the Health Innovation Network. It is supported by the NHS and the Mayor’s Office. The programme was set up to put London at the centre of the global revolution in digital health by creating a favourable environment for industry to do business in.

The Scale | Health programme will therefore leverage the combined network of PwC, Digital Catapult’s and DigitalHealth.London to ensure potential customers, partners and investors meet the scale-ups that are set to transform the future of health through scaleable innovation
