In 2023, we reflect on our journey—expanding from a handful of individuals in 2013 to nearly 300 professionals across London, Belfast, Gateshead, and Bristol today. Digital Catapult’s commitment to “levelling up” technology adoption has seen the establishment of regional hubs, contributing significantly to local, national, and international initiatives.

In the telecoms sector, our SONIC Labs programme is garnering international recognition for its work to accelerate 5G diversification. In manufacturing, the Digital Supply Chain Hub is ensuring the UK’s supply chains are more sustainable and resilient through digitisation.

As we witness a new wave of generative AI innovation, Digital Catapult stands at the forefront, poised to guide businesses through this paradigm-shifting era. Our collaborative efforts have resulted in an impressive impact, including £555 million investment raised by 174 startups since 2018, and £172 million raised in FY 22/23 alone.
