Date: 1 January 2017 09:00 - 7 January 2017 17:00

Things Connected provides a LoRaWAN testbed together with an innovation support programme helping businesses to develop exciting and novel IoT products and services.

Digital Catapult launched Things Connected providing a LoRaWAN testbed together with an innovation support programme supporting innovation with the Internet of Things (IoT). Digital Catapult are currently in the test and development phase of the network with plans to enter Beta early 2017.

Things Connected will be an open IoT testbed, free of charge for registered users across London. The programme will help enable businesses to develop exciting and novel IoT products and services. Things Connected will encourage the deployment of sensors, applications and services to meet some of the city’s biggest challenges.

If you’re a developer or SME interested in our LPWAN network, tell us here and we’ll make sure to keep you in the loop.

To deliver Things Connected in the capital Digital Catapult will be working in collaboration with BT, Future Cities Catapult, Everynet, Beecham Research, AllThingsTalk, BRE, Imperial College London, King’s College London, UCL and Queen Mary University of London. The programme is funded in part by Digital Catapult with contribution from the partners.

The network is not built for commercial purposes but for testing and trailing new ideas – once developed they can be launched on one of the commercial networks covering the UK today.
