Meet us at: SXSW Digital Catapult and AIM’s Music Meets Tech Networking Breakfast

Date: 12 March 2019 09:30 - 12 March 2019 11:00

The British Music Partners is hosting Digital Catapult’s Music Meets Tech Networking Breakfast in Association with AIM (Association of Independent Music) at the British Music Embassy at SXSW 2019.

AIM (Association of Independent Music) and Digital Catapult represent two parallel communities in music and technology that share common traits. Both are rich with innovation, entrepreneurship and energy – a sense of the curious and a healthy disregard for the status quo. The power and value in our partnership that brings these two communities together has been clear from the outset. Now in its second year, this partnership has fostered real and direct collaboration and experimentation across a whole range of businesses and services at the cutting edge of culture, technology and business.

This event is designed to bring together the independent music community with innovators in tech. It is for those working in tech, wanting to connect with those working in music and vice versa.

Association of Independent Music (AIM)

AIM is the not-for-profit trade body exclusively representing the UK’s independent music sector, which makes up a quarter of the recorded music market. Now in its 20th year, AIM’s members range from the largest, most respected record labels and associated music businesses in the world to self-releasing artists and the next generation of entrepreneurs in music. AIM promotes and supports this exciting and diverse sector globally and provides a range of services, commercial opportunities and practical help to members, enabling them to innovate, grow and break into new markets.
