Meet us at the 5G Summit in Taipei

Event overview

On 3 November 2023, Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), in collaboration with global partners, is hosting the 5G Summit in Taipei.

At the summit, Digital Catapult will join representatives from Telecom Infra Project (TIP), i14y Lab hosted by Deutsche Telekom, National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) from U.S. Department of Commerce, North Carolina’s Aerial Experimentation and Research Platform for Advanced Wireless (AERPAW), alongside several leading Open RAN innovators from Taiwan (such as Taiwan Mobile, Pegatron, Lions Technology, WNC, HTC, G REIGNS, Quanta Computer, QCT, Compal Electronics, Tailyn Technologies, Lite-On and more).

These experts will discuss first-hand their respective progress and insights toward Open RAN testing & validation, deployment, and ways to leverage policy resources to expedite global market entry.

This summit brings together key industry leaders and Open RAN innovators to share their valuable takes on the issues at hand, and to contribute to the coevolution of our global telecom ecosystem.

Charles Turyagyenda, Lead 5G Technologist, will take part in a panel called “Challenges, suggestions and key takeaways from testing with global partners“, taking place from 10:25 to 11:25 with fellow panellists:
