MWC Barcelona is the largest and most influential event for the connectivity ecosystem.

Whether you’re a global mobile operator, device manufacturer, technology provider, vendor, content owner, or are simply interested in the future of tech, you need to be in Barcelona from 3 to 6 March 2025, where technology, policy and commerce converge. Be transported to Digital Catapult’s state-of-the-art testing facilities without leaving our exhibition booth! Our new immersive experience, developed in partnership with ARCADE XR, will give you the chance to take a virtual tour of lab space and explore key capabilities, as well as discover how we are driving Open RAN product development. Accessible virtually via a VR headset or an iPad based interactive tour.

The UK Innovation Pavilion Tours will take place at the following times:

  • Monday 3rd March – 11 am & 3 pm
  • Tuesday 4th March – 10 am & 2 pm
  • Wednesday 5th March – 2 pm

Hear from us

We’re excited to have expert speakers from Digital Catapult within the main conference agenda, taking part in the following sessions.

On the third day of the conference, Wednesday 5 March, our CTO, Joe Butler, will take part in the “Is AI A Solution or Challenge to Networks” session and deliver a presentation on the Marconi Stage, in Hall 6 at 1 pm.

Following this, Paul Ceely, Digital Catapult’s Director of Technology Strategy, will be on chairing a panel discussion on the Turing Stage, in Hall 6 as part of the Game Changers theme. This panel will discuss When Will Quantum Computing Have its Chat GPT Moment?” from 2 pm.

Finally, you will also be able to hear from Paul Ceely later that day at the Quantum Technologies Summit – Strategies for Telco Operators, taking place from 3 pm to 5 pm, at the 4YFN & Partner Theatre 5 in Hall 8.
Paul will discuss “How can telecoms organisations gain business advantage from quantum sensing and quantum AI?” This session is taking place at 4.30 pm and is accessible to all (pre-registrations are encouraged).
