Event overview

The 2025 EuCNC & 6G Summit builds on putting together two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC (European Conference on Networks and Communications), supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit, originated from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland, one of the very first in its area.

The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) and the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), and focuses on all aspects of telecommunications ranging from 5G deployment and mobile IoT to 6G exploration and future communications systems and networks, including experimentation and testbeds, and applications and services. It brings together cutting-edge research and world-renown industries and businesses, globally attracting in the last years more than 1000 delegates from more than 40 countries all over the world, to present and discuss the latest results, and an exhibition with more than 50 exhibitors, for demonstrating the technology developed in the area, namely within research projects from EU R&I programmes.

The event is taking place in Poznan, Poland from the 3rd to the 6th of June.

Find us

Come meet the Digital Catapult and UKTIN teams on our UKTIN stand, number 44.

Drop by to say hello if you’re at the conference, our team would be happy to share more about how we:

  • are supporting the UK Telecom ecosystem through experimentation, testing and validation
  • are fostering collaboration on R&D projects in Europe
  • can work with you to help accelerate the development of your products

By visiting our stand, you can also be able to learn more and experience some of the following demos:

  • Digital Catapult’s Open Future Networks Lab
Be transported to Digital Catapult’s state-of-the-art testing facilities without leaving our exhibition booth! Our new immersive experience, developed in partnership with ARCADE XR, will give you the chance to take a virtual tour of lab space and explore key capabilities, as well as discover how we are driving Open RAN product development. Accessible virtually via a VR headset or an iPad based interactive tour.
  • REASON’s Autonomous Self-Configuring Factory
This REASON demonstration explores the transformation of future factories through private intelligent multi-access networks. It showcases a high-fidelity digital replica of a factory, where robots perform tasks while interacting with an advanced network DT that monitors Quality of Service (QoS) and supports multi-access technologies such as Wi-Fi, Li-Fi, and cellular networks. The Multi-Access Technology Real-Time Intelligent Controller (mATRIC) ensures seamless network management.
  • UKTIN AI Discovery Toolkit
Free to use for all registered UKTIN users, our proprietary discovery tool helps you navigate and understand R&D capabilities and funding across the UK, saving you time and helping users join the dots across our complex sector in a way not previously possible. Leveraging the power of large language models, the tool can instantly summarise vast amounts of raw data and deliver actionable insights, eliminating the need for specialised knowledge. Still got questions? Our AI assistant can help you finesse searches and interpret results.
Facilitating better understanding, easing identification of opportunities and smoothing the path to new partnerships.

Hear from us

We’re excited to have expert speakers from Digital Catapult within the main conference agenda, taking part in the following sessions.

On the third day of the conference, Thursday 5 June, Digital Catapult’s Head of Future Networks and 5G, Dr Kostas Katsaros, will participate in the Network & Service Orchestration session, taking place in Room 1.A, between 16:00 and 17:30 and present a paper on CAMINO, a Cloud-Native Autonomous Management and Intent-Based Orchestrator.

This paper introduces CAMINO, designed to address the challenges of scalable, declarative, and cloud-native service management and orchestration. CAMINO leverages a modular architecture, the Configuration-as-Data (CaD) paradigm, and real-time resource monitoring to facilitate zero-touch provisioning across multi-edge infrastructure. By incorporating intent-driven orchestration and observability capabilities, CAMINO enables automated lifecycle management of network functions, ensuring optimized resource utilization. The proposed solution abstracts complex configurations into high-level intents, offering a scalable approach to orchestrating services in distributed cloud-native infrastructures. This paper details CAMINO’s system architecture, implementation, and key benefits, highlighting its effectiveness in cloud-native telecommunications environments.
