Hear from us

As part of the Cambridge Tech Week 2024 core events, you will be able to hear from no less than three Digital Catapult’s experts in the AI and Quantum Deep Dives on Day 3, Wednesday 11 September.

Cecilia Nunn, Responsible AI Lead, will chair a panel discussion on “The Stages of Adoption from R&D and spin-outs to enterprise” from 10.00 to 10.40 am at the Pembroke College. This discussion will deep dive into how, why, and where businesses are adopting AI with experts from R&D innovation projects, scale-ups, and big corporate. Cecilia will be joined on this panel by representatives from Dell, Second Mind, University of Bristol and Cambridge Management Consulting.

Following this, Philip Young, Director for Strategy and External Affairs, will take part in a fireside chat alongside a representative of the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) around “Government strategy and the UK AI roadmap”  from 11.45 am to 12.05 pm still at the Pembroke College.

Later in the day, Paul Ceely, Director of Technology Strategy will discuss “Integrating Quantum into your business”, from 2.30 to 3.30 pm at the Pembroke College as well. This panel discussion, with panellists from UK Atomic Energy Authority, Phasecraft and IBM, is within ‘The practical applications of Quantum Technologies Deep Dive’ agenda.
