Our speaker

Cecilia Nunn

Responsible AI Manager

Cecilia is a software engineer leading a team at Digital Catapult focusing on the implementation of responsible AI and technology. She works with businesses, investors and start-ups to put ethics into practice and teach tech teams how to implement it into their products. She’s managed multi-million-pound international digital projects for leading technology companies, including Google and multiple UK nonprofits. Mission-driven by programming, design and the use of tech to transform society, she’s extremely passionate about getting more women into STEM and mentors women and girls in tech. Having originally come from a background in international relations and development, she blends this experience with her more recent technical expertise to try and bridge the gap between ethicists and engineers.
