Introduction to quantum computing – How can your business use quantum computing?

Date: 17 November 2022 15:00 - 16:30

About

Quantum computing is a rapidly-emerging technology that harnesses the laws of quantum mechanics to solve problems too complex for classical computers. It is a fundamentally different computing approach that allows certain computations to be performed far more quickly and efficiently than traditional computing does. Quantum computers may soon be able to solve problems that are not feasible with classical computers. But what is a quantum computer and how does it differ from a classical computer?

Digital Catapult is organising a series of two webinars on quantum computing to answer this question and help you understand the most likely early quantum computing use cases in optimisation, quantum chemistry, and quantum machine learning.

Held on Thursday 17 November, the first webinar will put the spotlight on how your business can benefit from this new advanced digital technology. The second webinar, on Thursday 01 December, will focus on how to get started on quantum computing.

Join Digital Catapult and leaders from across the industry in this exploratory journey on understanding the use cases and applications of quantum computing!

Important Notice: To be part of this journey, please note that you will need to register to both webinars separately. For the first webinar you can register directly below. To register for the second webinar please visit this page.

Who should attend?

The webinar series will be of interest to anyone looking to understand the multiple benefits of using quantum computing to solve modern day industry challenges. The webinar will be particularly useful for business and technology leaders keen to gain an understanding of the different use cases for quantum computing.

This webinar will bring together a diverse range of quantum computing enthusiasts, including speakers from Digital Catapult, Riverlane, ORCA Computing and D-Wave Systems Inc.
