5G INITIATE innovation workshop

The aim of the INITIATE project is to link four experimental 5G testbeds (Bristol, Lancaster, London, Edinburgh) and to create the first operational SDN.

A key challenge of this project is the long-term user engagement and facility sustainability of each testbed. The INITIATE projects seeks to explore how we can engage with small businesses from across the country and encourage them to experiment with these 5G testbeds.

INITIATE will be investigating sustainable models for user engagement and the regional partners involved will be developing plans for scaling and sustaining the facility beyond the end of the project.
