Jessica Rushworth

A senior policy and strategy specialist with 20 years’ experience, Jessica Rushworth is Chief Strategy & Policy Officer for Digital Catapult. Jessica is experienced in developing strategy, working with senior leaders in business and government, policy-making, programme development and the interface between government and business.

Having worked in the Civil Service for 15 years prior to joining Digital Catapult, Jessica’s previous roles in DCMS, BEIS and the Cabinet Office have given her a deep understanding of the importance of innovation and emerging technologies to the UK economy. Jessica has developed new policy initiatives in the life sciences and cyber security sectors and large scale multi-stakeholder programmes in emerging technologies.

In Digital Catapult she leads the PREE team responsible for policy strategy, economics and engagement.
