Elmer Zinkhann

Elmer is Head of Design at Digital Catapult and is an advocate of human-centred design across internal and client projects and programmes. Working on the cusp of technology and design, he consults and collaborates with others in order to increase their understanding of barriers to adoption and explore opportunities for growth. He and his team combine strategy, research and design to surface the needs and motivations of end-users and stakeholders and translate them into desirable and impactful solutions for people and businesses. Elmer has worked in the digital sector for over fifteen years in various roles, delivering novel and game-changing products and services for a range of public and private sector clients, including; Transport for London, The Metropolitan Police, Archant, Three, INQ Mobile, Maxis, Eurostar, Universal Music. His background is in Industrial Design Engineering, having studied at the University of Technology in Delft.
