Showcase at the Things Conference Norwich

The Things Conference is a two day conference focused on digital transformation through adopting smart technology that enables connectivity between devices. The event will explore topics on IoT, data analysis, robots, space, DevOps, ethical open data, smart city standards and a whole bunch of use cases for LoRaWAN.
The upcoming Things Conference will take place in Norwich on 15th and 16th October 2018, at St. Andrews Hall in Norwich, Norfolk and will bring together innovative businesses across the sector who are already using LoRaWAN enabled devices as well as those seeking to learn more about LoRaWAN and LPWAN solutions.
LoRa technology is emerging to become the main method of communication to create smarter connected communities due to its ability to transmit data over vast distances with no subscription fees.
Digital Catapult’s Things Connected programme has partnered with The Things Network (TTN). This collaboration brings together two well-established initiatives in the UK, creating Britain’s largest free-to-use LoRaWAN network and innovation community. As part of this collaboration we’re looking for startups to join us at The Things Conference Norwich to showcase and demonstrate their solutions.
Why you should get involved
Digital Catapult will be hosting an evening drinks reception for all TTN UK communities members and provide a show and tell opportunity on the first conference day on 15th October 2018. Further to the showcase at Things Conference Norwich, you’ll also get the opportunity to hear Head of Technology, IoT Lead, Alex Gluhak as a keynote speaker.
In particular selected applicants for this Open Call will receive a showcase table with power, WiFi and TTN connectivity. With the opportunity to network with other TTN community members, exchange learnings and experiences and get inspired with new project ideas.
Who should apply?
We’re looking for startups and scaleups as well as community members looking for a chance to showcase their work and discover other projects from within the TTN community.
Anyone wanting to develop their solutions and ideas into successful business opportunities and want to gain invaluable expertise and advice from Digital Catapult should apply.
We are inviting those already attending the Things Conference Norwich the opportunity to showcase with us – to showcase on the day participants must have already purchased their ticket here. The best showcase will receive a refund on their conference ticket and a Kerlink gateway for use in their community.

The event is free to attend for TTN conference ticket holders, but requires advance booking for showcasing projects. A table with a name label for your community, power, WiFi and TTN connectivity will be provided so companies can bring along devices and/or dashboards for showcasing initiatives and projects.
